• How much do dentures cost in Pueblo West?

  Every case is different — we’ll give you a written estimate at your consultation, and we’re happy to check your insurance benefits. Cost depends on whether you need a full, partial, or implant-supported denture — and, for implant-supported dentures, how many implants are placed. Most PPO plans cover dentures at 50% after deductible.

• How long do dentures take to make?

  Standard dentures take about 4 to 8 weeks from initial impressions to delivery, including the try-in step. Implant-supported dentures take 4–6 months because the implants must integrate with the bone before the denture is attached.

• How long do dentures last?

  A well-made denture typically lasts 5 to 10 years. Over time, your gums and jawbone naturally change shape, which means even a good denture eventually needs to be relined or replaced. Implant-supported dentures last longer because the implants prevent bone loss.

• Will dentures look natural?

  Modern dentures can look very natural — particularly when you use the try-in step to refine tooth shape, shade, and arrangement before the denture is finalized. Tooth shade is matched to your skin tone and age. Tooth arrangement can include subtle imperfections that read as natural rather than fake.

• What's the difference between regular and implant-supported dentures?

  Regular dentures rest on your gums, held in place by suction (uppers) or balance (lowers). Lower regular dentures often feel loose because there's no good place for them to grip. Implant-supported dentures snap onto 2–4 dental implants placed in the jaw — they don't move, you can chew anything, and the implants prevent the bone loss that happens with regular dentures.

• Do you see denture patients from Pueblo?

  Yes. Our Pueblo West office is about 20 minutes from downtown Pueblo. Dentures take several visits — impressions, bite and tooth selection, a try-in, delivery, and follow-up adjustments — so we'll plan your appointments with the drive in mind.

• Can I sleep with my dentures in?

  Generally not recommended. Removing dentures at night gives your gum tissue a rest, allows you to clean the dentures thoroughly, and reduces the risk of yeast infection (denture stomatitis). Soak them overnight in water or a denture cleanser.

• How long does it take to get used to dentures?

  Most patients adjust to new dentures within 2 to 4 weeks. The first few days you may notice extra saliva, slight difficulty speaking certain sounds, and pressure spots — all of which improve quickly with adjustments. Eating tougher foods is the last thing to come back; start with soft foods and progress as you feel ready.
